The Shit Sop
So I just discovered this cool as brand through instagram called The Shit Shop, they are based in Germany and make some pretty mean jumpers. They are super swag, old school jumpers with ribbed cuffs and waistbands, adorned with big bold text and some with serious bling. They also have a physical store selling young German designers and vintage pieces along with their jumpers in Berlin that looks sick! Defs worth a visit if you’re in Germany I recon. The girls behind the brand seem really awesome too, I have been lurking the crap out of the instagram all night very good viewing pleasure 😉

Trends: Chunky Chains
(via: bagladyboutique)
Recently I’ve been all about the chunky chain necklace, not the long 90s style with a gold $ sign on the end, but a shorter 80s style that sits just on the collarbone. I have a rose gold one that I have absolutely abused this summer, its such a great statement piece, it’s so good for dressing up t-shirt dresses and it makes every outfit look pretty boss. I try not to go to over board with other accessories, I usually pair it with a man style watch and I’m good to go.

India Rose
India Rose, a UK blogger with some seriously MEAN style. The girl can rock a beanie like no other and she pulls of the most random gear and looks super hot while doing so! She is the kind of girl who can mix trackie dacks and heels and make it look legit. She also has killer taste in music, you can check out what she is listening to on sound cloud here.

Off the Wall
Vans; the shoe of choice for cute skater boys since 1966. In my high school days Vans were the only acceptable shoe for a skater groupie like myself. Its been years since I’ve sat on the edge of a bowl and been impressed by a boy popping an ollie but just yesterday I purchased my first pair of Vans since like 2007. Not because I plan to go troll some skate parks for hotties, but because I keep seeing them every where and have that ‘my wardrobe will never be complete with out them’ feeling for like at least a month now. I don’t like to think I’m a trend slave, if I see 50 girls wearing the same t shirt I don’t feel the need to go out and by it… BUT! I have seen like 500 girls in vans looking ridiculously cool and comfy… AT THE SAME TIME! Now that I am a student and can no longer wear high heels while I sit at my desk for 8 hours a day I actually need comfy shoes that I can, you know walk in. So I have purchased a brand new pair of Vans, which you can see below there are also some pictures of other girls and boys looking cool in their Vans, its basically its one big Vans appreciation party down there. Enjoy!

Parklife 2012
PARKLIFE IS THIS WEEKEND! OMG! GTFO! Parklife is the first of the summer music festivals and this year the line is epic; Justice, Passion Pit, Nero, Parachute Youth and of couse my favourite… FLUME! If you don’t know FLUME, he is a rad DJ from Sydney and you need to check him out right now! Usually, Parklife is the first chance to dust of your denim cut offs and everyone is running about faking tanning the crap out of themselves, but this year its going to be like 16 and raining so I’ve had to rethink my outfit choices. First up is what I like to call the ‘I kinda wanna pick up today’ because its a little sexier the number two, which is the super sensible and probs a lot more comfy option.

Ksubi Kustom Kompetition
The good folks over the General Pants Co Bubble are holding a kick ass competition to design your very own Ksubi Kustom vest. If you win they will make it… You know what, thats all well and good but when I read this “you will be able to experience the design process first hand and collaborate with the Kustom team to produce your piece.” I nearly blew my proverbial load. I have had a massive style crush on Ksubi for as long as I can remember, actually since they were frickin Tsubi! It’s like an old school love affair and the idea of like getting to hang out and collaborate with them is about the best thing I could imagine. The Ksubi Kustom studio is located behind their Paddington store and looks like this..
I would be open to selling my first born to hang out and create here. Anyway I had a crack at a couple of designs, basically you have to use three of five elements; studding, painting, patches, bleaching or shredding. They said they wanted lots of colour so my first design is a pretty colourful, My Little Pony inspired vest; it has a rad pink hood, butter soft yellow leather across the back and décolletage, my little pony patches on the pockets and back, and some sexy studding! The second design references the current Ksubi Collection. The Crushed Crome pattern on the back and shoulders is from the current collection as are the American Flags. The Cross Dollar is pretty well known Ksubi sign and that has been painted on to the front breast. There are some studs about the place and lastly there is a pretty gangster All Seeing Eye patch across the back of the vest.
Let me know what you think, you can check them out here and here and if you want to check out some of the other designs or submit your own go here!
